A man is dead following a car wreck early Saturday morning.
46-year-old Danny Lloyd Weaver of Byars was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Drummond Road when the truck ran off the road to the left, hit an embankment and fence, and rolled 2¼ times—according to an OHP Troop A report.
Weaver was reportedly thrown from the truck.
The accident happened Saturday morning just before 1:00 a.m., in the 43000 block of Drummond Road in Pottawatomie County.
Weaver was pronounced dead at the scene due to internal injuries.
Troopers investigating the crash reported that Weaver had been drinking.
The OHP report indicated that he had not been wearing his seatbelt and that airbags did not deploy.
