It was clear why they came.
"They will never build a casino on that land."
From Congressman John Sullivan to the homeowners themselves, the Citizens Against Neighborhood Gaming in Broken Arrow know he fight against the Kialegee Tribe and a casino is over.
"Over 10 thousand folks signed petitions great relief after a a lot of work but a real community effort," says Rob Martinek one of the organizers.
And it's clear those at the federal level were listening.
"This was a convoluted and a wrong way to do a casino. It was trying to maneuver through legal channels back door attempt to do it. and you it's putting a casino near schools churches that they ever thought would be here."
Now at the former site.....is a fireworks stand, but it too could be a problem. Many aren't opposed to a business there, but signal fireworks might also be what's ahead at least for the Kialegees
"It's really not our call and I don't think you're going to get a lot protest about a fireworks stand from the community however the state of Oklahoma says it's a violation of law, and Judge Frizell says it's a violation of law, even an ice cream stand."
