WWII Bomber Arrives In Tulsa

A rare WWII-era bomber flies into Tulsa Monday.

The historic aircraft will be flying for tours at Jones Riverside Airport Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1.

The tours are part of the 2012 "Salute to Veterans" tour from the Experimental Aircraft Association, or EAA.

The goal is to link the past to today for all to enjoy.

Ground tour rates:
·         $10 per person
·         $20 per family (adults/children up to 17 - immediate family members)
·         Free - Children under 8 (when accompanied by paying adult)
·         Free - All active military or veterans

Flight rates (pre-booking available at www.B17.org or call 1-800-359-6217):
·         $435 EAA members ($409 before June 29)
·         $475 non-members ($449 before June 29)

The plane is one of the only few B-17s in the world that is still air worthy.
