Around 8:25 Monday Morning, Tulsa police responded to a call near the 700 block of S. Maplewood Ave.
According to police, a homeowner in that area shot an alleged burglar who was discovered inside his home.
The suspect then reportedly barricaded himself in the homeowner's bedroom while the homeowner fled to a nearby restaurant and called police.
Police have captured the suspect, who was transported to St. John's Medical Center in serious condition shortly after he was caught.
