More and more people are buying new homes here in Tulsa.
In fact, it's up almost 22% over last year.
According to the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors, last month, more than 1,100 homes changed hands.
And year to date, it's been 4,600.
That's the highest new home sales have been since 2008.
And that's not all. Home prices in the Tulsa area are also improving.
The average price of home is $169,000.
