A couple is behind bars following a drug bust on Wednesday.

Jared Lowe, an investigator assigned to the Tulsa County Violent Crimes/Narcotics Task Force, told KTUL.com that a confidential informant reported that people living at a house in the 10200 block of East 115th East Place South in Bixby were growing and selling marijuana.

A warrant was issued, and both the task force and Bixby Police officers served the warrant and located 64 cultivated marijuana plants, approximately 1½ pounds of raw marijuana, two firearms, and miscellaneous equipment used in the cultivation of marijuana.

Authorities arrested 39-year-old James Edward Carlisle and 34-year-old Jennifer Denee Carlisle at 10:00 a.m. without incident.

Two juveniles who were in the house at the time are now with family members.

James Carlisle has been charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child endangerment.

His bond is set at $45,250.
