Downed Power Lines Shut Down Highway 97

Part of Highway 97 in Sapulpa had to be shut down Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just south of the Turner Turnpike around one o'clock.

Troopers tell ktul.com, a truck with an oversized load knocked down some power lines.

The road was closed until crews could fix the lines.

It reopened around 4:30.
