Fireworks are prohibited within Tulsa city limits.

The Tulsa Fire Department reminds people that by city ordinance, possession or sale of fireworks without a Fire Marshal's permit within Tulsa city limits is a criminal offense punishable by a fine up to $500.00 and imprisonment up to 90 days in jail (14 TRO, Ch. 1, §101).

Although fireworks are prohibited within city limits, ONEOK FreedomFest will offer a variety of fun activities for the entire family on Wednesday, July 4th.

Every year, nearly 100,000 people go to the banks of the Arkansas River to celebrate at ONEOK FreedomFest.

The four locations for ONEOK FreedomFest will be River West Festival Park, Veterans Park, Blue Rose Café/Elwood's, and 31st and Riverside.

The Tulsa Parks Department will also have free inflatables and activities for children at Veterans Park in the 1800 block of South Boulder Avenue on Wednesday, July 4th.
