A missing Kingfisher County senior citizen has been found dead.
A Silver Alert was issued June 22nd and was extended nationwide on June 23rd.
77-year-old Betty Simon had last been seen June 20th at the Bellevue Nursing Center in the 6500 block of North Portland in Oklahoma City while visiting her husband.
The Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office canceled the Silver Alert Saturday after Ms. Simon was located by volunteer searchers beneath a bridge on North Council Road just south of West Edmond Road in the Deer Creek area.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a body was inside the car, but it could take a while before the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office officially identifies the body.
