Man Arrested for Robbery with a Firearm

A man was arrested Friday night in connection with an armed robbery on Wednesday and subsequent confrontation on Friday.

18-year-old Kentrell Arnell Williams is accused of threatening a man on Wednesday with a silver handgun and demanding that the man hand over his backpack, which contained his laptop computer.

The robbery victim was approached in his apartment complex by Williams again on Friday, though the victim was able to run to a nearby Warehouse Market parking lot and call the police.

Tulsa Police arrested Williams on the spot and booked him at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

His bond was set at $50,000.

Police are investigating another man believed to be involved in the two incidents.
