A Tulsa man is behind bars after allegedly terrorizing a woman on Thursday.

42-year-old Donald Ashby Jr. does not live with his wife and cannot legally be inside her home without her consent.

According to the arrest report, Ashby attacked his estranged wife and terrorized her for 13 hours.

Ashby allegedly entered the home on Thursday, picked up her dog by its throat, threw the dog against a wall, and then shot the dog with a pistol.

Then he allegedly attacked his wife and threw her into a chair by placing his hand over her face.

The arrest report indicates that she had visible bruises on her shoulder blade and injuries on her back, face, and arms.

Police said Ashby is "extremely dangerous" and that he has threatened to kill his wife previously.

Ashby allegedly owns an AR-15 rifle and several pistols, including one 50-caliber handgun.

He reportedly threatened to kill any cop who tried to arrest him, kill her, and then kill himself.

Ashby was arrested Saturday at 5:45 a.m. and was booked at 6:41 a.m.

He has been charged with one felony count of kidnapping, one misdemeanor count of assault and battery, and one misdemeanor count of threatening a violent act.

Until Ashby sees a judge, he is being held without bond.
