Three men are in custody after an armed robbery at a hotel Sunday morning.

18-year-old Alfred Wendel Reed and 18-year-old Kewon Marico Grundy are accused of robbing two women at gunpoint at the Canterbury Inn in the 1300 block of North Elm Place in Broken Arrow just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

The robbery victims told Broken Arrow Police officers that the men pulled up next to them in the hotel's parking lot in a maroon Toyota Corolla. Reed and Grundy, as well as a third suspect, allegedly pointed pistols at the women and demanded that they hand over their possessions.

After handing over their purses, the suspects reportedly drove northbound on Elm Place.

Police chased the suspect vehicle onto State Highway 51 eastbound and initiated a traffic stop.

Police found a black pellet pistol and $211 in cash in the Toyota, as well as one of the purses.

Reed, Grundy, and the other suspect were arrested and taken to the Broken Arrow City Jail until they could be transported to the Tulsa County Jail.

They were booked around 12:00 p.m. Sunday.

Both Reed and Grundy have been charged with two felony counts of first-degree robbery by force or fear and one felony count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Their bonds were set at $110,000 each.
