Rogers County Recount Confirms Walton Wins Sheriff Election

A recount of 11 county's in Rogers County sheriff's race has been completed this afternoon. It confirmed that Sheriff Scott Walton won the race.

The recount has Walton won with 5.481 votes to his opponent Cole Butler's 3.194/

Last week, Butler filed a request for a manual recount. The results did not change from last week's count.

The Rogers County Election board said Butler asked for the recount because of concerns over the new voting machines.
