Norman -
The Amber Alert that was issued Tuesday for a 3-year-old girl was canceled Wednesday night after a police stand-off in Norman.
3-year-old Chasity Almon is safe, and her father Robert Almon was placed under arrest.
Norman Police found 32-year-old Robert Almon and his daughter at an apartment building near 24th Avenue Southwest and West Lindsey Street in Norman just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Robert Almon's wife lives in the apartment complex, and authorities tracked him after pinging her mobile phone.
Robert Almon refused to surrender after hours of negotiation, so Norman Police officers stormed the apartment building after making sure Chasity was safe.
Pottawatomie County Sheriff's deputies reportedly went to a home in Bethel Acres on Tuesday afternoon to serve a felony warrant on Robert Almon, when he fled the scene in a silver 2007 Chevy truck, Oklahoma license plate 225FHP.
10-year-old Aaron Brodine and 3-year-old Chasity Almon were reportedly inside the truck at the time.
Because the children were inside, Pottawatomie County authorities stopped pursuing the truck once speeds reached upwards of 77 miles per hour.
According to Pottawatomie County deputies, Aaron was dropped off Tuesday night at a random house and was taken to a secure location.
Chasity's mother, Kimberly Bristow, was glad to have Chasity wrapped in her arms again Wednesday night.
"She appeared to be okay," Norman Police Captain Todd Gibson told sister station KOCO's Carla Wade. "No visible injuries."
Robert Almon's wife will be charged with harboring a fugitive.
Four other people were detained for questioning.
