TULSA, Okla. -

The FC Tulsa Spirit have only been in existence for roughly 4 years, but the club is part of the world's largest women's soccer league: the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL.)

Teams in the league, including Tulsa, are comprised of former and current college soccer players. Because of NCAA regulations, players aren't paid but the ownership can provide means for room and board.

The league runs from May through August and there are only three Spirit home games remaining this season.

For more information on the FC Tulsa Spirit, go to www.tulsaspirit.net or check the league's official website at WPSL.info.
