Silver Alert Canceled for Ardmore Veteran

Authorities have canceled a Silver Alert that was issued Friday for a missing veteran.

60-year-old Ben Morgan has been found, and he is safe.

He had last been seen at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ardmore Veterans Center at 1015 South Commerce in Ardmore.

Authorities said Morgan left to watch fireworks at Lake Murray and never returned.

Morgan's family had not heard from him or seen him since.

Mr. Morgan reportedly suffered from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and diabetes.

He was described as a white male.

Morgan may have been wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

He may have been driving a red Dodge pickup truck with an Oklahoma license plate.

Anyone with information was urged to contact the Ardmore Police Department at 580-223-1212, 911, or their local authorities.
