A man pleads No Contest to two counts of second degree murder for giving a synthetic drug to friends at a party where two of them later died.

22 year old Cody Weddle of Ada rejected a plea bargain that set a 10 year prison term.

Instead, he entered a blind plea that will let a judge determine the penalty.

Sentencing is set for August 7th.

Two East Central University students died and six others became sick at the party last year.

Police say Weddle purchased a hallucinogenic drug, similar to ecstasy, on the internet.

The deaths led to a change in Oklahoma's drug laws.
