If you enjoy great music on a warm summer's night, we've got just the event for you.
LaFortune Park is hosting its First Friday Concert from 7-9pm.
It's located at the Gardens of LaFortune at 52nd and Hudson.
The group playing is called "Beacon Drive". They play 60s and 70s music.
Cherrie Lewellen is the activities director for LaFortune's Community Center. She says, "The adults bring lawn chairs or blankets. And the kids are able to play and just enjoy the evening with other kids. If they want to listen to other kids they can. But it brings a family event to this particular area."
Up to 800 people are expected Friday night.
And best of all, it is free!
