Tulsa County -

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Troop B reports a total of 95 citations and warnings during phase two of the 4th of July DUI enforcement effort overnight.

The second and final span of the DUI enforcement began 7:00 p.m. Friday and wrapped up around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

During the time of this final initiative, there were no injury collisions reported by OHP.

There was one single-vehicle, non-injury crash worked in north Tulsa County on U.S. Highway 169 at 146th Street North at 7:41 p.m. This occurred while troopers were attending the pre-operational briefing at Troop B headquarters from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The enforcement did result in six vehicles stored, seven DUI arrests, six speeding tickets, three felony drug arrests, and two felony warrants served.

"Not one single person was injured in a traffic collision on Tulsa County highways during the time of this special project," said OHP Lieutenant George Brown, "and we are exceptionally pleased with that result."

There were two missing juveniles recovered and taken into protective custody during patrols. One was discovered during a traffic stop and was entered into NCIC as missing. The other was a 13-year-old female runaway, seen walking near I-44 and 33rd West Avenue by a trooper on special patrol.

The July 4th holiday period lasts until midnight Sunday, July 8th.
