Man Dies in Delaware County Motorcycle Wreck

A man died in a motorcycle wreck late Saturday night.

45-year-old Stephen Seifert of Grove was driving a 2000 Honda motorcycle eastbound on a County Road when he crossed the center of the roadway during a curve and drove off the road to the left, hitting a fence post—according to an OHP Troop L report.

Mr. Seifert was pronounced dead on the scene from head injuries.

The accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday, southeast of Grove.

According to the OHP report, Seifert was not wearing a helmet.

Investigators said the roadway was wet and that it was raining at the time of the accident.
