A woman is behind bars on Sunday after losing her child.

Tulsa Police Officers responded to a call about a missing infant in the 300 block of West 48th Street North Saturday night at 9:30 p.m.

They found 30-year-old Myia Natrice Cole, as well as Clyde Jackson, extremely intoxicated.

Ms. Cole told police officers she didn't know where her baby was.

Jackson, the baby's father, also had no information on the whereabouts of the infant.

Police found a witness who led them to an area near 5700 North Frankfort Avenue, where the infant was found inside a child car seat facing down on the street.

Cole was charged with one felony count of child endangerment.

She was booked into the David L. Moss center just after 5:00 a.m. Sunday.

Cole had existing arrest warrants for failure to comply, possession of a controlled drug, possession of paraphernalia, public drunkenness, and escape from a penal institution.

Jackson was not charged.

Cole's bond was set at $25,000.
