The town of Braggs, OK has again issued a boil advisory for its citizens.
Monday morning, the Bragg Public Works Authority issued a statement saying that due to low water pressure, the drinking water in Braggs has a greater risk of being contaminated. As a precaution, it is advised that all consumers of the Braggs water system bring the water to a full boil for one minute before consumption, food preparation, dish washing, tooth brushing, wound care, and bathing infants who may ingest water.
The Braggs Public Works Authority also urges consumers to conserve water, saying "The Braggs Public Works Authority cannot stress enough the need for water conservation. The pumps at the well sites cannot keep up with demand.
