Tulsa Police have arrested 3 adult males and one juvenile after they allegedly tried to break into an empty elementary school.

Around 1:30 A.M., police responded to an alarm at Sandburg Elementary at 18580 E 3rd St.  When they arrived, officers could hear several people running around on the roof. Officers then set up a perimeter around the school.  Moments later, police called Tulsa Fire Department for assistance and a ladder so they could gain access to the roof.

When the Fire Department vehicle arrived and officers were able to climb to the roof, they arrested 20-year-old Joseph Tuell, 18-year-old Samuel Chapman, 18-year-old Scott Taylor and one other juvenile who has not been identified.  All three adult males face charges of burglary.

Police tell Channel 8 that there was damage inside the building, and one of the suspects had stolen property in his possession.
