Muskogee -
The Greater Muskogee Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting Women from around the state to sharpen their leadership skills Wednesday morning for its "Women Reaching To New Heights" conference.
The eighth annual conference will be taking place at the Indian Capital Technology Center at 11 a.m.
Speakers will talk about their roads to success and offer tips on how to become leaders in the workplace.
"We want to make a better business environment for women," said Sue Godwin, Chair of the Women's Leadership Committee. "The Women's Leadership Committee designed this conference to be an uplifting experience because we want to keep young women climbing the business ladder, and inspire business women who are already in leadership positions."
The registration form for the Women's Leadership Conference may be downloaded from the Muskogee Chamber website, www.muskogeechamber.org, or call the Chamber at 918-682-2401.
The full-day conference is designed for women; however men are encouraged to attend the lunch and keynote address. The cost is $79 per person for the full conference, including lunch, or $30 for lunch and keynote seminar only. After July 6th, the cost will change to $89 per person for the full conference, $35 for lunch and keynote only. There are a limited number of spots available.
