Sand Springs -
Mechanical failure caused a train to block traffic for roughly four hours Sunday morning.
The train was reportedly blocking traffic on Highway 51 near Highway 97.
A witness saw the train blocking the roadway on Highway 51 westbound as early as 6:30 a.m.
The train was traveling eastbound.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Tulsa Dispatch told KTUL.com at 10:30 a.m. that the train had broken down between Highway 97 and Highway 48.
According to OHP— there was no derailment, and no one was injured.
