An East Tulsa neighborhood is without power after a semi truck took out at two electrical poles.
It happened around 9:30 Monday morning near East 3rd St. S and 161st East Ave.
According to police, the driver lost control of the semi after another vehicle crossed the center line, causing it to swerve. The semi took out two power poles and downed power lines before coming to rest on its side . The downed power lines were still live and sparked a small grass fire.
According to EMSA, the driver of the semi has been transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Crews are currently working to return power to the affected homes in the neighborhood.
