Tulsa Police have identified the suspect in an officer-involved shooting that took place Monday night at 400 S. Xanthus.

Police tell Channel 8 that the suspect,  32-year-old Manuel Sanchez was wanted in connection with several other crimes that happened on Monday.  Sanchez was armed with a gun, and was shot in the abdomen by a Tulsa Police officer when he refused to obey orders from police and tried to flee.

Sanchez was critically wounded and was transported to a Tulsa hospital Monday night.  He died a few hours later.
