A bicyclist was struck by a car Wednesday night.

Just before 6:15 p.m., Tulsa Police, Fire, and EMSA responded to an accident in the 200 block of West 71st Street South.

Tulsa Police Officer Dianna Liedorff told KTUL.com that a bicyclist was riding eastbound on 71st Street South when a brown, four-door sedan hit the bike, hit the curb, and then jumped the curb into a ravine.

The bicyclist, a man in his 20s, was reportedly taken to Saint Francis Hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the car, a man in his late 20s, was uninjured. His mother, who had been riding in the car, took herself to a hospital due to seat belt injuries.

Officer Liedorff said both the bicycle and the car were totaled.
