A Boeing 737 landed safely Wednesday night after an onboard indicator light warned of a possible fire.
According to Tulsa International Airport (TUL) spokesperson Alexis Higgins, they had emergency vehicles standing by as a precaution.
The crew of United Flight 1235 called in an Alert II just after 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, meaning that the aircraft might be having major difficulties.
Despite the indicator light, the crew was unable to locate a fire.
The plane landed safely just after 8:00 p.m. on Runway 18 Left.
Emergency crews on the ground found no fire.
United Flight 1235 was en route from Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
