Semi Fire Near Stroud Backs Up Traffic

A semi on fire backed up westbound traffic on I-44 near Stroud Friday afternoon.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Oklahoma City Dispatch, westbound traffic was being diverted to Highway 66.

The semi caught fire during an accident just before 4:30 p.m. Friday.

OHP told KTUL.com that all lanes were back open by 5:10 p.m.

OHP said there was only the one vehicle involved and that there were no other injuries.
