A young man died in a truck accident Friday night.
17-year-old Cory Reasnor-Blanchett of Stigler was driving a 2003 Dodge Ram eastbound on State Highway 9 when he ran off the road to the left, and hit a tree—according to an OHP Troop C report.
Mr. Reasnor-Blanchett was reportedly thrown from the truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday, just west of Stigler.
According to the OHP report—Reasnor-Blanchett was not wearing a seatbelt, but an airbag did deploy.
