Dry conditions are believed to have sparked a large grassfire burning North of Bristow, Sunday Afternoon.

Dispatchers with the Drumright Police Department tell KTUL.com, that the fire has been burning off and on since Friday in an area along the Bristow-Depew City Line. Currently firefighters from Depew-Shamrock, Oilton, Bristow and Olive Fire Departments are on scene battling the flames.

We're told firefighters have set back burns around several homes in an effort to protect them. At this point, no structures are currently threatened.

As of yet, there is no official word as to how big the fire is.

This is a developing story, look for more later on-air on Tulsa's Channel 8 and on-line at KTUL.com.
