Governor Slated To Speak To Tulsa Business Community

Governor Mary Fallin comes to Tulsa Tuesday with a message.

The Tulsa Metro Chamber will host her for a State of the State Address to the city's business community.

Tickets for the luncheon begin at $40 dollars for Chamber members and $50 dollars for non-members.

Governor Fallin has served on the Oklahoma House of Representatives, became the first woman lieutenant governor of Oklahoma, and continued on to be the first female governor of Oklahoma.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
