Tulsa Hosts "Splash Bash"

Get your swimsuits out! The Tulsa County Parks Department is getting wild with a "Splash Bash" Wednesday.

The event is from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at these four county pools: Chandler Park, LaFortune Park, O'Brien, and South County Recreation Center. There will be food, music, pool games and prizes.

Organizers hope to inspire healthy, active lifestyles and activities to appreciate nature.

"It's our job to promote health and wellness throughout our community and have a lot of fun doing it! " Richard Bales, Director of the Tulsa County Parks Department said.

Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at one of the sponsoring parks.

Tulsa County Parks provides recreational and leisure activities with opportunities in both natural and developed environments that promote health and wellness in order to improve the quality of life within the community.
