A woman is dead following a truck wreck Wednesday morning.
50-year-old Deanna Kay Foster of Enid was driving a 2004 Chevy Blazer westbound on Lake Hellums Road (County Road E0370) when the truck drove off the road to the right, overcorrected, spun in the opposite direction, rolled, and landed in a ditch—according to an OHP Troop J report.
Ms. Foster was reportedly thrown from the Blazer and was pinned underneath it.
She was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries.
The accident happened just after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, just west of U.S. Highway 81.
According to the OHP report—Foster had not been wearing a seatbelt, and airbags did not deploy.
Troopers reported that Ms. Foster may have been exceeding the speed limit.
