Jaws Of Life Used To Free Man From Truck

The drivers truck hit this tree head-on.

Tulsa firefighters pry the victim of a traffic accident from his truck overnight.

The incident happened at 2:00am in the 5800 block of E 111th St. S.

Tulsa police corporal Mark Seacrist said the man crossed the center line and hit a large tree.

The impact crumpled the pickup so badly that firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free the victim. They cut the roof from the truck to get him out.

The man was taken to a Tulsa hospital with serious injuries.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage.
