An elderly driver is being blamed after her SUV slammed into a North Tulsa home sending three people to the hospital late Saturday Night.
Three people are hospitalized after an elderly driver slammed her SUV into a house late Saturday Night.
Tulsa Police tell KTUL.com, the driver of a Ford Bronco was driving Westbound on Pine near Harvard when she drifted into oncoming traffic. A car going Eastbound swerved to avoid the Bronco but the two vehicles ended up sideswiping each other causing the Bronco to overcorrect and slam into a home on the Southeast corner of Pine Street and Gary Avenue.
One of the occupants of the home was laying on a couch when the SUV impacted the home. The force of the impact sent the occupant flying across the room. He was taken by family members to an area hospital, no word on his condition.
Two passengers inside the Bronco were taken by EMSA to area hospitals as well. Their condition is unknown at this time.
Police say the driver of the Bronco was driving without insurance or a driver's license. She will most likely be facing charges.
