Collinsville Man Arrested for Biting Two People

A Collinsville man was arrested early Sunday morning for aggravated assault and battery.

53-year-old Raymond Edward Tidwell is accused of assaulting and biting two people.

Collinsville Police arrived at North 19th Street and West Union Street just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday.

They reportedly found two people with lacerations on their hands and fingers, as well as teeth imprints, consistent with them having been bitten.

One of the victims reportedly had a nearly-severed finger.

Both parties told police they had been assaulted by Mr. Tidwell.

Police located Tidwell several blocks away, covered in blood.

Tidwell reportedly admitted that he had been in an altercation with the two victims.

He was treated at the scene and taken to a Tulsa hospital for an ear injury.

Upon his release, police arrested him on two felony counts of aggravated assault and battery.

Tidwell was booked just before 8:00 a.m. Sunday.

His bond was set at $4000.
