Bixby Police Car Hit By Gunfire

Police in Bixby are investigating after someone shot at one of their patrol cars.

Nobody was inside, but police say it was parked in the officer's driveway.

Witnesses say a white, older model Crown Victoria drove by and shot out the back window with a shotgun.

The bullet also hit the house.

No one was hurt.

The officer wasn't home at the time.

Police are unsure if it was a random act or whether the officer was targeted.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage.
