Time is running out to enjoy the cool water of Tulsa city and county park pools.
Tulsa County resource development manager Frances M. Dodson told
KTUL.com that pools in Chandler Park, O'Brien Park, LaFortune Park and South County Recreation Center will lock up for the summer on Sunday, August 12th.
That leaves a little less than two weeks for folks to find some brief refuge from scorching summer temperatures.
In Tulsa, pools and McClure, Berry, Whiteside, Lacy and Reed parks will close the same weekend.
A K9 Splash pool party for dogs and their owners is being held at Reed on August 11 and McClure on August 12, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 dollars per dog.
