West Tulsa -
A camp in west Tulsa is helping children with special needs.
"Hope's Crossing" is a 3-day Day Camp at Camp Lochridge.
This year, 12 kids are getting the chance to swim, complete the ropes course and form friendships.
The camp allows them to gain independence and self-confidence.
Bob Deger founded the camp because he says there was a lack of this kind of opportunity in this part of Oklahoma.
Thanks to donations, the kids get to go to camp for free.
Those attending were anywhere form 9-14 years old.
