Man Dies in Head-on Collision

A man is dead following a head-on collision Wednesday evening.

26-year-old Christopher Allen Dilley of Pawnee was riding a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on State Highway 18 when he drove left of center and hit a 2007 Dodge truck head-on, according to an OHP Troop K report.

The accident happened just before 5:45 p.m., south of McElroy Road.

Mr. Dilley died at the scene due to massive injuries.

Besides its driver, the Dodge had three passengers—none of which were injured.

According to the OHP report—all occupants of the Dodge were wearing seatbelts except its driver, but airbags did not deploy.

Troopers are still investigating the cause of the accident.
