Tulsa -
The Tulsa Girls Art School is wrapping up their summer session with an art show Friday night.
Some of their work is going on display at Lot 6, an art bar located at 1323 E. 6th Street.
The students watched a documentary on New York graffiti artist Jean-Michael Basquiat, then listened to the music that inspired him, while they created original works of art.
An opening will be held Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00.
The art work will remain on display until September 6th.
All art sales benefit the Tulsa Girls Art School which is a non-profit that teaches art skills to under served girls in Tulsa.
