Duncan Man Drowns On Lake Murray

Officials say that a 31 year old Duncan man has drowned after he went swimming with some friends on Lake Murray.

It happened Sunday just before noon. Reports say that Kenneth Thomas was swimming with some of his friends and went missing. His friends found him in the water about 20 minutes later.

They started CPR on Thomas, but were not able to resuscitate him. He was transported to Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, where he was pronounced dead by the Medical Examiner.
