German Shepherd Rescue Destroyed By Wildfire

Posted: Updated:

20 rescue dogs have been displaced by the fires in Mannford.

Safe Haven German Shepherd Rescue was destroyed, and foster homes are needed for the dogs saved.

Unfortunately because the fire moved so quickly, the owners didn't have time to evacuate all of the dogs. And some of the shepherds had to be left behind.

It's believed and hoped they were able to escape, so be on the lookout.

In addition, a power outage means no water.

They are desperate for donations.

Janet O'Connor says, "So we need water, food, dog dishes, crates, fencing to build new runs, basic things like collars and leashes, blankets, towels, wading pools."

Safe Haven rescues both pure bred German Shepherds and shepherd mixed breeds.

If you can help call 918-576-3855.
