City Of Mounds Updates Water Usage Restrictions

The City of Mounds has updated the restrictions for the mandatory water rationing.

Residents are still under the mandatory rationing, but the water levels in the tanks will allow some outdoor watering.

Residents in the city limits may water Monday, Wednesday and Friday, except between the hours of 5:00 and 10:00 p.m.

Anyone living outside the city limits may water Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, except between the hours of 5:00 and 10:00 p.m.

Absolutely no watering is allowed on Sundays.

Anyone caught watering will get a warning on the first offense, a $50 fine the second offense, and will be fined $100 after that and the meter could be locked.
