Construction Underway On Kendall Whittier West Park

  Construction is underway on a new development in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood.

  The Kendall Whittier West Park project is located near 5th and Lewis.

  It will include 128 mixed income residential units, 20 student housing units, 7,000 square feet of retail space plus the renovation of an existing park for recreational use.

  The $36 million project should be complete next summer.

  Funding is coming from The George Kaiser Family Foundation, The University of Tulsa, The City of Tulsa, state low-income housing credits, and outside financing.
