Showers and thunderstorms will be possible today across the area. A few storms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds possible.
The highest chance for widespread thunderstorms will occur after 3PM. The thunderstorms are expected to move south overnight.
Temperatures will cool down some over the next couple of days. Highs will fall into the lower 90s by Friday into Saturday.
