Mother Accused Of Child Abuse Behind Bars

A Tulsa woman is behind bars after her 13 month old son showed signs of trauma.

According to reports Adriane Nickole Dixon took her son to the hospital. Investigators say he had extreme swelling on his face, a black eye, and bruises all over his body.

Further investigation and X-rays revealed that the baby had a skull fracture.
The baby also had a bite mark on his left arm.

When questioned about her child's injuries, police say Dixon gave no plausible explanation for the injuries.

Dixon has been booked in Tulsa County Jail on charges of child abuse.
