Suspect Arrested for Murder in Norman

U.S. Marshals arrested a man Wednesday in connection with a murder on Sunday.

20-year-old Daniel Ramirez was arrested in the 2300 block of Heatherfield Lane in Norman on Wednesday.

He has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill.

Ramirez is accused of shooting 21-year-old Raul Chavez dead, as well as shooting two others with non-life threatening injuries, on Sunday.

Oklahoma City Police officers interviewed numerous witnesses after an altercation on Sunday in the 8200 block of Northwest 11th Street in Oklahoma City.

Ramirez is being held without bond.
